Quinoa with Tuna and Turmeric

Quinoa is a healthy cereal often used instead of rice. Quinoa with tuna and turmeric is a great recipe when we want a quick and tasty meal.

Preparation:

  • Boil quinoa on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan until medium. Chop the onion and paprika into cubes, add to the pan and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the cooked quinoa and add it to the pan. Immediately after, add the canned tuna and stir everything together. Turn off the heat.
  • Season with turmeric and salt as desired.
  • Finally, grate one fresh carrot. Stir everything one more time and the dish is already done!
