Grape and beetroot juice is best drunk fresh. If you want to drink it later, keep it in a sealed jar in the refrigerator and consume it as soon as possible. Beets are rich in potassium, iron, vitamins, and minerals. It is known to boost the immune system, help with anemia, and have numerous other healing properties. Although it is most commonly consumed cooked, it can also be eaten raw in the form of salads or as an ingredient in beverages. Beetroot juice is one of the easiest ways to get the benefits of raw beets and their healthy nutrients. However, the taste of pure beetroot juice is not very attractive to many, so it is recommended to combine it with some sweet fruit, such as apples or grapes.

Grapes are one of the symbols of autumn. Like beets, grapes contain many vitamins and minerals, as well as other valuable nutrients. They contain a high amount of natural sugar, which makes them a healthy alternative when we want to satisfy our sweet tooth. Because of their freshness and natural sweetness, grapes are an ideal ingredient for juices and smoothies. Store-bought juices usually contain additives and white sugar, so homemade natural juice is definitely a healthier alternative. Both grapes and beets are known for their antioxidant properties, so fresh juice will also have a detoxifying effect.

A glass of fresh, natural juice can also serve as a motivator for hydration. If, like me, you struggle to drink enough fluids, a glass of fresh natural juice can be motivating and encourage you to take a break. Sometimes we can use it to refresh our morning routine for a good start to the day or to add to our daily break. When our mornings and days are busy, we can prepare the juice the night before and store it in the refrigerator overnight. It sure feels good to take time to enjoy the little things, even if it's just a glass of healthy juice.

Autumn inspires us with warm colors that we can translate to canvas and glass, but also in food and drink. In addition to juice, grapes are great for making a variety of smoothies, like the grape and pear smoothie. If autumn days inspire you to prepare some desserts, you might enjoy a simple hazelnut cake or homemade chocolate. With creativity and healthy sweets, even rainy autumn days can be filled with sweet moments and beautiful memories.

Bon appetit!
