Serve as a side dish or as a main course. It is known that eggs are rich in proteins, but also in vitamins and minerals, which is why they are an excellent choice for a healthy meal. Egg dishes are especially healthy when combined with other nutritious foods such as chickpeas, cottage cheese, and green vegetables. Therefore, the main ingredients for preparing three delicious and healthy fillings without mayonnaise are chickpeas, cheese, and chard. In addition to the egg filling, all three fillings can also be used as a sauce or spread, so you can spread the remaining fillings on bread or combine them with other dishes.
Chickpea filling will be recognized by many as a recipe for the famous spread, hummus, which is also great as a filling for eggs. Cottage cheese is always a suitable addition to egg dishes. Enriched with carrots and turmeric, it becomes a delicious and decorative cheese filling. The chard filling contains the characteristics of the famous Italian pesto sauce, which is traditionally made from basil. Instead of chard, you can use basil, as well as other green plants such as spinach or nettle. Additionally, you can enrich all fillings with fresh herbs.
Like colorful Easter eggs, deviled eggs are a delicious and decorative addition to the holiday table. In addition to deviled eggs, you can also enrich the table with pure, homemade cornbread or pyrrhic bread. Although we often associate them with holidays, deviled eggs are equally suitable for everyday meals. By preparing a simple but different recipe, we can add some color and cheerfulness to a seemingly ordinary day. Brighten up your day with colorful and tasty dishes!
Bon appetit!
