Ingredients: |
---|
500 g chicken breast |
200 ml milk |
4 tbsp oil |
4 tbsp lemon juice |
1 onion |
2 garlic cloves |
Dry spices |
1 tsp curry |
1 tsp turmeric |
1/2 tsp ginger |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp salt |
Herbs |
2 tsp coriander |
2 tsp basil |
1 tsp parsley |
Preparation
- Chop the onion into small cubes. In a pan, heat the oil to medium heat, then add the pre-chopped onion. Simmer briefly over low heat for about 2 minutes.
- Cut the chicken into smaller pieces, then add it to the pan. With occasional stirring, simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Chop the garlic, and add it to the pan.
- Garlic will start to smell good quickly, so add the curry and turmeric as well as the remaining dry spices of your choice. To prepare the recipe from the picture, the following spices were used: ginger, cinnamon and salt. Mix all the spices with the chicken.
- Immediately afterwards, pour cold milk into the pan and stir everything once again.
- Squeeze a little bit of lemon juice. Additionally, if you’re a fan of spicy food, you can also add a little bit of chilli sauce. With occasional stirring, simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, chop the fresh herbs you have chosen. Fresh coriander leaves, basil and parsley were used to prepare the dish from the photo.
- Towards the end of cooking, add the previously chopped herbs and stir. Fresh herbs are best added at the end to retain their nutritional values.
When serving, you can decorate the dish with a few fresh herb leaves of your choice.
Bon appetit!
